Report a Sighting (or Story)

Seen or heard something unusual? Maybe it was a shadow on the water, a story told around a campfire, or a sketch that popped into your mind. Photos, drawings, memories, or tall tales — they all belong here.

We’re a small, curious ‘field office’ gathering stories from across Wisconsin. It’s part folklore, part neighborly storytelling, and part community record-keeping. Each submission adds to the map of this mysterious local character, whether real or imagined.

What You Can Share

  • Photos or videos – blurry or clear, staged or sincere.

  • Drawings or art – quick doodles to museum-worthy renderings.

  • Stories or memories – sightings, happenings, or family lore.

  • Tips or clues – tracks, signs, odd encounters.

Why Share?

Because legends live through those who tell them. Together, we’re building a living archive of Wisconsin’s mystery, full of memories, tales, and moments that keep the conversation alive. We’re also working on a public sightings map so people can follow along with where the story is unfolding.
